Strengthening »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Fund
A new funding programme to support local communities through small grants.
Open for applications from 15 July to 26 August 2025.
»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Community Foundation (WCF) is opening the latest round of the Strengthening »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Fund, a programme to support local communities through small grants, positively impacting all areas of the county.
Following the first funding round in 2024, in which £187,000 was distributed to support 31 projects, the new programme will be focusing on similar areas of need.
A fund of £110,000 is available to distribute, which includes majority funding from us, plus other donations.
Funding priorities
Applications may be made for projects which contribute to one or more of the following priorities:
- cost of living or food and fuel poverty
- ageing well reducing social isolation and loneliness
- supporting people to stay safe and well in their community
- information, advice and guidance
- supporting unpaid carers
The application portal opens on the WCF website on 15 July, with the deadline for applications 26 August. Funding will be allocated in November for projects starting 1 December 2025.
